HP EliteBook 840 G9 (i7 / 512GB / 16GB)

Professionals in demanding roles who need the EliteBook 840 platform with i7-level processing power for data work, development, or heavy multitasking.

The 12th Gen Intel Core i7 on the G9 platform uses Intel's Efficiency and Performance core hybrid architecture, which handles both sustained workloads and burst tasks efficiently. For professionals whose work alternates between heavy and light tasks throughout the day, this architecture manages battery and performance well.

Data analysts, developers, and senior consultants who regularly run CPU-intensive tasks alongside Office and browser applications will find the i7 G9 more responsive than the i5 configuration during those demanding periods.

The G9 is a current-generation update to the proven G8 platform. For buyers who want a modern Intel generation without paying the premium of the G10 or G11, the G9 is well-positioned.

i7 performance on the G9 platform with HP's commercial security stack. The 12th Gen hybrid architecture is a meaningful improvement over the previous generation for both performance and efficiency.

HP Wolf Security (the updated branding for HP's commercial security platform) is present: hardware BIOS protection, browser isolation, biometric authentication, and TPM 2.0. The security stack is identical across all G9 configurations.

16GB DDR4/DDR5 and 512GB NVMe SSD provide a capable foundation. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. HP commercial warranty and support apply.
