HP EliteBook 840 G9 Touchscreen (i7 / 512GB / 16GB DDR5)

Professionals who want touch input and the EliteBook commercial platform with DDR5 memory bandwidth. Suitable for presenters, consultants, and executives who benefit from on-screen interaction during meetings and client work.

The combination of touch display and DDR5 memory is particularly valuable for professionals who use the machine for presentations: annotating slides on-screen during client meetings, pointing at data on shared displays, or sketching quick diagrams.

This variant also suits professionals who want the latest memory technology in a touch-capable EliteBook configuration. DDR5's higher bandwidth benefits multitasking workflows and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, which draw from system memory.

For organizations standardizing on touchscreen machines across a team of presenters or trainers, the G9 touch DDR5 configuration provides a consistent, capable platform at a sensible price.

DDR5 memory provides higher bandwidth than DDR4, benefiting memory-bound workloads and integrated graphics performance. Combined with touch display capability and the HP EliteBook commercial platform, this configuration covers both interaction flexibility and memory throughput.

HP Wolf Security is present across all EliteBook configurations: hardware BIOS protection, fingerprint reader, IR camera, and TPM 2.0. The commercial security credentials are unchanged by the addition of touch or the upgrade to DDR5.

512GB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, and HP commercial warranty round out a complete professional package.

16GB DDR5. DDR5 doubles memory bandwidth compared to DDR4 at equivalent capacity. This benefits both the CPU's memory-intensive workloads and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, which draw from system RAM. 512GB NVMe SSD.
