HP EliteBook 840 G8 (i7 / 512GB / 16GB)

Professionals who need a 14-inch enterprise laptop with processing power above the i5 baseline. Suitable for data analysts, developers, and senior professionals who run heavier applications.

Developers who compile code, run local web servers, and maintain multiple terminal sessions alongside a browser will find the Core i7 handles the workload more smoothly than the i5 under sustained load.

Senior professionals who process large Excel files, run local Python or R scripts, and keep multiple applications open simultaneously will experience the i7's advantage in the form of less throttling and faster task completion.

For professionals whose work already pushes their current machine, the i7 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD represents a significant step up in daily performance.
