Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 (Ultra 5 / 256GB / 16GB)

Business professionals who want the ThinkPad commercial platform with current-generation Intel at an accessible storage and memory configuration. The T14 is the workhorse ThinkPad, balancing portability and performance for daily corporate use. Professionals who work primarily in cloud storage — OneDrive, Google Drive, SharePoint — and do not maintain large local file archives will find 256GB sufficient for Windows, Office, communication tools, and a working documents folder. For those choosing between the T14 Gen 5 and Gen 6, the Gen 5 offers current-generation Core Ultra at a lower price than the Gen 6. Both use Intel Core Ultra architecture with NPU support. The Gen 6 brings incremental platform improvements. Small businesses standardizing a team on a current-generation ThinkPad at a managed cost will find the T14 Gen 5 256GB a practical fleet choice that delivers the ThinkPad experience without the top-tier price.

The ThinkPad keyboard, MIL-SPEC certification, Lenovo commercial support, fingerprint reader, IR camera, and TPM 2.0 are standard across the T14 line regardless of storage configuration. 16GB RAM handles all standard professional workloads. SODIMM slots allow upgrades to 32GB for future demands. The 256GB NVMe SSD is fast and comfortable for cloud-first workflows. Lenovo's commercial support network for ThinkPad is one of the most comprehensive available. The platform will remain supported for the full enterprise device lifecycle.
